Avery Pambianchi was born in June of 2001, and began taking up trumpet at an early age. A recent graduate of both the Eastman School of Music and William Paterson University, Pambianchi is quickly making himself known as a dedicated young musician in the NYC Jazz community.
Avery has performed at Venus such as Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Chris’ Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia, and has performed twice at the Rochester International Jazz Festival.
In 2024, Pambianchi recorded at WBGO’s studio in Newark for their Jazz Appreciation Month series, and also performed alongside Grammy Award Winning artists Christian McBride, Brian Lynch, and Lisa Fischer as a member of the 2024 Aspen Jazz Academy Big Band.
Pambianchi has also been recognized by Downbeat Magazine and the International Trumpet Guild, receiving an outstanding soloist award in the 2023 Downbeat Student Music Awards, and being recognized as one of ten semifinalists in the International Trumpet Guild’s Jazz Improvisation competition in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.
Pambianchi’s versatility as a trumpet player has allowed him to share the stage with artists such John Clayton, Joe Lovano, and Youtuber/Bassist Adam Neely. Currently, Pambianchi leads a Jazz quartet of his own, specializing in both original compositions and Jazz standards.
