FLIMA (flee-mah) was founded in 2010 with the goal of helping local/regional musicians. Formerly called "Finger Lakes Independent Music Association" but though our name has changed our mission and values remain the same.

Creating opportunities for musicians to network, collaborate, and mentor. Advocate for fair pay, creative freedom, and professional development for musicians. Building community through concerts, workshops, and interactive music events.

Each week FLIMA presents community music events on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 6-9pm. We form partnerships with local venues to provide unique music experiences. events and performances. Every week rotates through a variety of music events including things like: live performances, music workshops, open mic/jam sessions, artist spotlights, community music, and more.
