We’re thrilled to count Brewery Ardennes as a partner venue for this year’s jazz festival. They were one of the first venues to commit to join us in our inaugural festival in 2023. And they continued to host live jazz every Thursday throughout the season. This historic farm and barn have been painstakingly restored and established as one of the best breweries in New York State.

Brewery Ardennes is a Belgian-inspired craft brewery and kitchen in Geneva, the heart of New York’s scenic Finger Lakes. We celebrate the rich traditions of beer making and farm-to table dining, characterized by thoughtfully-sourced ingredients and unhurried processes. Our beers and food are best paired with friendship and conversation. Come experience our hospitality.

The Mellow Warblers (Marc Devokaitis, saxophone; David Wiles, guitar) are a musical duo based in Trumansburg, New York specializing in playful renditions of jazz standards and jazz deviations. TMW sets the perfect mood with an ever-mellow attitude. FREE concert with reservations recommended.

Eric Heveron-Smith is a multi-instrumentalist from Rochester, NY who has spent the last two decades honing his bass skills on stages all across North America, from the Paramount in Seattle, to the Beacon in New York, to Symphony Hall in Atlanta. Eric’s Swordfish Trio is a soulful, blues-infused power trio, a high-energy improv experience that takes you on a journey from tight riffs and funky Afrobeat grooves to soulful jazz and subtle bass virtuosity. FREE concert with reservations recommended.

Brewery Ardennes History

Shortly after they both graduated from Cornell University, Derek Edinger started to make beer as a weekend hobby from his day job as an aerospace engineer. Soon, he was buying larger equipment and experimenting with new recipes. Friends liked his creations and he won some state and national homebrewing awards. Derek convinced his wife, Stacey, that his beermaking would greatly improve if they visited beer destinations. She didn’t need much convincing as a Cornell Hotelie!
Originally owned by Katharine Bell Lewis, Bellwood Farms in Geneva, New York started as summer hobby farm. It eventually grew to encompass 800 acres in Geneva. Ms. Lewis endeavored to become a world-class sheepbreeder and built a massive 15,000 barn complex in 1909 that was home to 2,000 thousand Shropshire sheep. Regrettably, fires in 1912 and 1930 claimed much of the original Sheep Barn complex. What remains today is the home of Brewery Ardennes Tap Room & Kitchen.
